At the end of the course, students will be able to :
- CO1 Formulate the philosophy and objectives of the health care institutions at various level (L5)
- CO2 Identify trends and issues in nursing (L1)
- CO3 Explain public administration, health care administration and nursing administration (L2).
- CO4 Understand the principles of administration applied to nursing (L2).
- CO5 Recognize the organization of health and nursing services at the various levels/institutions (L2).
- CO6 Discuss the planning, supervision and management of nursing workforce for various health care settings (L2).
- CO7 Use knowledge in Planning equipment's and supplies for Nursing care unit and Hospital (L3).
- CO8 Apply methods of Quality assurance & Continuous Quality Improvement (L3)
- CO9 Compute Budgeting for various units and apply this knowledge to nursing service and education (L3)
- CO10 Gain adequate knowledge about Management information and evaluation system (MIES) and can apply it in nursing service and education (L3).
- CO11 Demonstrate leadership in nursing at various levels (L3).
- CO12 ldentify and analyze legal and ethical issues in nursing administration (L1,L6).
2 nd YEAR MSC NURSING

At the end of the course, students will be able to :
- CO1 Analyze health planning principles (L6), formulate strategies for effective management (L5), and critically evaluate the impact of management decisions on community health (L5).
- CO2 Understand the structure of the healthcare system in India (L2), assess challenges and propose solutions (l5), and critically appraise the effectiveness of health services (L5)
- CO3 Comprehend major national health programs (L4), formulate recommendations for program improvement (MO), and critically analyze the impact of health services on community well- being (L5).
- CO4 Demonstrate understanding of occupational health principles (L6), propose preventive measures for workplace hazards (L3), and critically evaluate the effectiveness of occupational health strategies (L5).
- CO5 Understand the healthcare needs of the elderly (L2), plan interventions for geriatric communities (L6), and critically analyze policies affecting geriatric care (L4).
- CO6 Comprehend mental health principles in a community context (LL2), develop strategies for mental health promotion (L6), and critically evaluate the impact of community-based mental health programs (L5).
- CO7 Understand rehabilitation in a community setting (L2), assess the needs for rehabilitation services (L5), and critically analyze the effectiveness of community-based rehabilitation programs (L4).
