At the end of the course, students will be able to :

At the end of the course, students will be able to :

• CO1 Understand the historical perspectives, trends and issues in obstetric nursing. (L2)
• CO2 Identify the anatomical, physiological, and psychological changes take place during pregnancy. (LI)
• CO3 Develop skills to render comprehensive care to mother during antenatal, natal and post- partum periods (L3)
• CO4 Demonstrate the skills in conducting normal deliveries. (L3)
• CO5 Identify and manage abnormalities and complications of pregnancy, labour and puerperium. (L3, L5)
