The “Literature Club “ is a forum where highly talented and creative mind get a chance to let their vices flow , expresses their thoughts and share something exciting. The club is also responsible for organizing the most prestigious event in the institutes. The club helps student develop solid thinking skills, examine why they believe what they believe, and learn to locate the values, world view and assumptions behind position expressed by others. The club works throughout the year to benefit students in the realms of writing and speaking by conducting events that are both instructional and enjoyable.

OBJECTIVES

  • Aim to develop analytical and creative thinking skills.
  • Offers opportunities to appreciate different types of literature and increase their own literary skill.
  • Develop logic and curiosity to know more and to instil in them a confidence to speak well.
  • It is a club made for people who love literature and want to share their experience, readings and thoughts with others who have the same interest and talent.

POLICY

  • There shall be constituted on executive committee by the members of the club consisting of five members who will report to the co-ordinator regarding the activities undertaken by the club.
  • The committee members as far as possible would be selected by consensus among the members and if no consensus is possible the selection would be done by the coordinator.
  • One of the member of the committee would act as a treasurer.
  • In cases were two batches are trained of where BSc (N) students are members of the club. One member in the senior batch and two members in the junior batch.
  • Committee will be required to plan the activities of the club under intimation to all the members.
  • The treasurer would be responsible for maintain accounts for incising various expenditure of the club.
  • The committee will ensure that meeting of the club are held at least once in every month of the date and time as decided by the co-ordinator through consensus.
  • The minutes of such meetings should be recorded and shall form part of the report of the committee.
  • The committee should be maintain a report and submit to the president.
