M.Sc. Nursing

At the end of the M. Sc. Nursing programme students will be able to;

PSO1: Demonstrate competency in providing preventive, promotive and restorative health care services to children and their family members based on concepts and principles of child health nursing, and perform leadership roles in nursing services, nursing education and nursing research.

PSO2: Demonstrate proficiency and competency in nursing skills and techniques in delivering evidence based nursing care to individuals, families and communities affected by diverse medical and surgical conditions, particularly in the field of neuroscience.

PSO3: Acquire comprehensive insight and display incredible skills in care of normal and high risk mothers, and newborns including reproductive health by adopting nursing process approach family centered care.

PSO4: Utilize the knowledge of community health nursing to provide Value based and socially committed care to the people in community through the community oriented programs and research projects
