Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
At the end of the B. Sc. Nursing and P. B. BSc. Nursing programme students will be able to;
PSO1: Demonstrate competency in providing preventive, promotive and restorative health care services to children and their family members based on concepts and principles of child health nursing.
PSO2: Utilize knowledge about mental illnesses and evaluate actions by utilizing research findings on promoting and restoring mental health in individual, family and society.
PSO3: Appraise, design and execute essential nursing care to all women during the reproductive period and newborns in all dimensions and at all levels of care.
PSO4: Demonstrate competency in nursing skills and techniques by applying knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences and integrating the concepts and principles of nursing to provide care to individuals, families and society.
PSO5: Create competent and socially committed nurses in preventive and promotive aspects of health care and carryout community outreach programs by utilizing the available resources.
